The Coorie
Your sanctuary of calm awaits!
A purpose-built space for 1-to-1 sessions, yoga, and life coaching
The Coorie - a quiet Scottish sanctuary for calm, clarity & reconnection
A purpose-built wellbeing space in Cumbernauld, Glasgow, offering private 1:1 yoga, nervous-system reset sessions and coaching — held gently, without pressure.
A safe place to slow down
The Coorie is a small, warm garden cabin designed for one thing:
to help your system settle so you can hear yourself again.
The word coorie (ku:ri) is a Scottish term meaning to nestle in, to seek warmth, comfort and refuge.
It’s not a trend — it’s a way of living that values simplicity, rest and connection.
Inside The Coorie, there is no performance, fixing or pushing.
Just quiet presence, steady guidance and space to breathe.

This environment supports the body first — so insight can follow naturally.
It’s not indulgent. It's a necessary part of the process.

Client Experiences
Elaine has been amazing. I’d never done yoga before and felt completely safe from the start. Two sessions in The Coorie and I left feeling grounded, calm and genuinely supported.
Caroline Cherington
Elaine’s voice during Yoga Nidra is so soothing. I’ve never relaxed like that before.
