LIVE SHOWS

Singer-Songwriter | Storyteller

Music, story, and human connection — shared in real time

There are performances that entertain for an evening.

And there are performances that stay with people long after the room has emptied.

Elaine Lennon creates live music experiences rooted in emotional honesty, warmth, storytelling, and genuine human connection. Whether performing in intimate listening rooms, theatres, festivals, house concerts or reflective creative spaces, her work invites audiences into something quieter, deeper and more human than spectacle alone.

An award-winning Scottish singer-songwriter known for her soulful voice, thoughtful songwriting and emotionally intelligent stage presence, Elaine’s live performances blend music and conversation in a way that feels intimate, grounded and deeply real.

There is warmth in the room.
Space to breathe.
Moments of laughter.
Moments of recognition.
Songs that meet people where they are.

At the heart of it all is connection — between artist and audience, between story and experience, between people sharing the same space for a little while.

The Homebird Sessions

Music, Conversation & Creative Community

THE HOMEBIRD SESSIONS™

Songs feel different when you hear the story behind them

Created and hosted by Elaine Lennon, The Homebird Sessions™ is an intimate music and conversation platform built around storytelling, creativity, and human connection.

Part live performance, part songwriter conversation, part creative gathering — The Homebird Sessions™ invites audiences beyond the performance itself and into the stories, experiences and emotional threads underneath the songs.

Known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, the project has brought together acclaimed artists, emerging songwriters, music lovers and creative communities through live events, collaborative conversations and shared listening experiences across Scotland and beyond.

What makes The Homebird Sessions™ distinctive is its sense of intimacy.

The conversations are relaxed.
The performances are heartfelt.
The atmosphere feels personal rather than performative.

Audiences are not simply watching from a distance — they are part of the experience.

A Listening Room Spirit

Originally created as a live Scottish listening-room experience, The Homebird Sessions™ later evolved into an international online creative community during the pandemic, connecting artists and audiences at a time when many people felt deeply isolated from live music and one another.

The project went on to receive an Americana Music Association UK Hero Award nomination in recognition of its contribution to grassroots music and creative community.

THE HERALD

Lennon has created a wonderful format for sharing songs and how they come into being. I was flattered to be asked to take part in such an enjoyable and original show. Brilliant!

BOO HEWERDINE

Elaine has fostered a sense of community and inclusivity in the Scottish songwriting scene and the live shows are a reflection of that. It is wonderful to be in a safe space connecting with others through song.

YVONNE LYON

EVE BLAIR, BBC RADIO ULSTER

'The homebird sessions stage is a welcoming and relaxed affair where listeners can gain a real insight into the meanings behind the songs. As a guest, I loved being part of such a warm and supportive community!”'

Beyond Traditional Gig Spaces

Alongside concerts and songwriter events, Elaine also develops reflective live experiences that sit at the intersection of music, creativity, conversation and wellbeing.

These gatherings may include:

live music and storytelling evenings
creative reflection events
artist conversations
music and mindfulness collaborations
spoken-word and acoustic gatherings
community wellbeing events
youth and intergenerational creative projects

The approach remains artist-led rather than instructional — using music and shared experience to create space for reflection, connection and emotional honesty.

House Concerts & Intimate Gatherings

Some of Elaine’s most meaningful performances happen in smaller rooms.

House concerts and intimate listening events create a different kind of atmosphere — one built around closeness, attention, conversation and shared experience.

These evenings are particularly suited to listening audiences seeking something thoughtful, personal and emotionally resonant.
