In Songs We Live On

(feat. Eugene Tedeschi)

Words by Elaine Lennon. Music by Elaine Lennon/Eugene Tedeschi

Remember we’d count the stars at night
Fly to the moon on magic carpet rides
In cardboard ships we’d sail across the seven seas
Faces and shapes in clouds we’d find
We’d sing and dance, lose track of time
Our little banks you filled up with memories

We smile, we know we are loved
Etched in our hearts every kiss every hug
And each night when we sing our songs
We know in songs we live on

Now younger eyes count those stars at night
Fly to the moon on magic carpet rides
Those cardboard ships carry two new crew across the seas
Faces and shapes in clouds we find
We sing and dance, lose track of time
Their little banks I fill up with memories

They smile, they know they are loved
Etched in their hearts every kiss every hug
And each night when we sing our songs
We know in songs live on

Trouble

Words & Music by Elaine Lennon

I'm in trouble, yes I am
I'm in trouble ’cos love was not in my plan

Temptation is my fast train to Hell
Temptation keeps ringing my bell
Temptation, the train just left the station
I jumped on board, this is not gonna end well

I'm in trouble, oh yes I am
I'm in trouble, love was not in my plan
Now I'm in trouble, call for help quick on the double
Heart’s in trouble again

Desire stole the sail from my boat
Desire pushed me overboard
Desire set the lifeboats on fire
Left me to drown, no sign of shore

I'm in trouble, oh yes I am
I'm in trouble, love was not in my plan
Now I'm in trouble, call for help quick on the double
Heart’s in trouble …

Train ain’t slowin’ down got my heart in a spin

Gonna have to swim through this mess desire got me in

I'm in trouble...yes I am
I'm in trouble, love was not in my plan
Now I'm in trouble, call for help quick on the double
Heart’s in trouble..

I'm in trouble, call for help quick on the double
‘Cos that trouble...that trouble…oh…just took me by the hand
