Critical acclaim
Elaine’s critically acclaimed debut album was launched at Celtic Connections and received Album of the Year recognition, alongside national and international acclaim.
Her song Little Bird Little Sailor inspired a TEDx Talk and has become a creative touchstone for many navigating change. Her work has been recognised by the UK Songwriting Contest, Nashville Songwriters Association International, and broadcast widely across BBC Radio.
Live & collaborative work
Elaine performs across the UK and internationally, with appearances ranging from intimate venues to major festivals, including Celtic Connections and Nashville’s Bluebird Café.
She has toured and collaborated with leading UK and US songwriters and artists, and continues to develop collaborative projects that blend music, storytelling and social impact.

Elaine Lennon is an award-winning Scottish singer-songwriter whose work is rooted in storytelling, emotional honesty and human connection.
Her songs explore love, loss, resilience and belonging — written not for performance, but for people. There is a quiet strength in her writing: space to feel, to reflect, and to recognise yourself in the story being told.
Since emerging onto the Scottish music scene, Elaine’s work has been met with critical acclaim. Her debut album launched at Celtic Connections and went on to receive Album of the Year recognition, alongside national and international press. Her songwriting has been recognised by the Nashville Songwriters Association International and the UK Songwriting Contest, and her music continues to be featured across BBC Radio.
A natural collaborator, Elaine’s songs and harmonies have appeared on recordings by UK and US artists, and she has toured and performed with respected songwriters across Scotland, the UK and internationally — from intimate listening rooms to iconic venues including Nashville’s Bluebird Café.
Alongside live performance and recording, Elaine creates music-led projects that blend song, conversation and community. Her award-nominated live show The Homebird Sessions and her song Little Bird Little Sailor — which inspired a TEDx Talk — reflect her belief in music as a tool for connection, comfort and change.
After a recent period focused on developing her wider creative and wellbeing work, Elaine is currently back in the writing room, working towards her next solo release.
