Three ways to begin the journey...
People arrive here for different reasons.
Some are seeking steadiness, clarity, creativity, emotional support, or a deeper sense of direction.
Others arrive through music, storytelling, education, or reflective practice.
These are not separate worlds — simply different paths into the same human work.

We don’t usually lose ourselves overnight.
We slowly adapt away from ourselves over time - through stress, responsibility, pressure, grief, burnout, overwhelm, or simply losing connection with ourselves beneath the noise of everyday life.
Drawing from nervous system awareness, coaching psychology, embodiment practices, mindfulness, creativity, philosophy, and reflective practice, the framework supports people in feeling calmer, clearer, steadier, and more connected to themselves again.
Through coaching, yoga, embodiment, reflection, conscious behavioural change, and creative practices — including music and songwriting — the framework supports emotional clarity, resilience, self-trust, and meaningful sustainable change.
This is not about fixing yourself or becoming someone else.
It’s about noticing yourself again.

🌿 Single Sessions | Intensive (4 sessions) | In-depth (12 sessions)
📍The Coorie | Online | On Location
A creative, reflective process using songwriting and guided practices to help you explore, process and express what words alone can’t reach. This approach is particularly supportive for: - emotional expression - grief and life transitions - identity and self-connection - reconnecting with creativity and voice No musical experience is needed. This is not about performance - it’s about expression, meaning and integration.
Elaine helped me write ‘Sunrise’ - a piece honouring the unconditional love, loss and spiritual connection I share with my son Joseph, who passed away at just 17. She guided me with extraordinary empathy and insight, held space for grief, encouraged creativity and helped me shape my emotions into a powerful musical story. This song is more than a piece of music; it is a tribute, a comfort and a source of strength. I truly couldn’t have done this without Elaine. I recommend her to anyone carrying grief and wanting to find their way to expression, connection and hope

The most meaningful change happens when there is trust, clarity and shared intention
My own journey has moved through many different chapters — from HR and university lecturing to music, songwriting, wellbeing, education, coaching, and creative facilitation.
Following a life-changing car accident, a period of physical disability, chronic pain, and significant nervous-system overwhelm, I began rebuilding my life through a more integrated approach to wellbeing — one that recognised the relationship between the mind, body, creativity, identity, and the nervous system.
Over time, I realised the platforms changed, but the deeper thread underneath them remained the same:
helping people reconnect with themselves, find steadiness, and navigate life with greater clarity, self-trust, and emotional resilience.
Drawing from lived experience, professional work in education and HR, years as a touring songwriter and facilitator, and training in yoga, coaching, mindfulness, and wellbeing, The Life Compass™ Framework brings together creativity, embodiment, reflection, and emotionally grounded support in a way that feels calm, human, and sustainable.
This is not about becoming someone else.
It’s about feeling more like yourself again.
Who This Work Supports
People often arrive at this work during a season where something no longer feels sustainable — even if they are still functioning well on the outside.
Often, they are thoughtful, capable people carrying a great deal internally while trying to keep everything moving externally.
You may recognise yourself here if you are:
• navigating pressure, uncertainty, or transition
• feeling mentally or emotionally overwhelmed
• experiencing stress, overthinking, or nervous-system fatigue
• holding things together externally while feeling disconnected internally
• looking for a steadier, more grounded way of living and working
• craving more clarity, calm, creativity, or self-trust
This work is especially supportive for professionals, creatives, self-employed individuals, carers, educators, and those moving through periods of personal or professional change.
You do not need to have everything figured out.
Only a sense that something within you is asking for attention.
You only need a place to begin.
Begin wherever feels most natural.
