Since starting her musical career in 2018, Elaine has been awarded Nashville Songwriter's ONE TO WATCH, has a coveted DANNY KYLE AWARD under her belt and won CREATIVE SCOTLAND support for her Debut Album (Produced by Findlay Napier & Engineered by Paul and Jamie Savage). Released to high acclaim at CELTIC CONNECTIONS 2020, the album was awarded Celtic Music Radio (The Official Station for Celtic Connections) first ever 'ALBUM OF THE YEAR' Award.
She has hosted & performed at major UK FESTIVALS, Nashville's BLUEBIRD CAFE, opened for artists including Eric Paslay and performed headline shows with Grammy Winning Singer-Songwriter Michael Logen.
Her online show 'THE HOMEBIRD SESSIONS' started during lockdown, inviting her musical peers to perform and chat about the their inspiration and the stories behind their songs, received high acclaim & will soon be an exciting new in-person Live SHOW (more on this in August 2021).
She has written for or featured in many podcasts and other publications including Mummy Jojo Uncut, Firewalker Films and Songwriters & Composers Scotland.
Elaine's 2020 charity single 'UNCHARTED WATERS' raised funds for the PAEDIATRIC WARD at UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL WISHAW where her youngest son was treated in 2019 to remove a benign tumour. She was supported on this project by a raft of talent including Boo Hewerdine, Karine Polwart, Siobhan Miller, Yvonne Lyon, Findlay Napier, Chris While and Euan Burton.
Currently writing for her second album while working on sync placements, co-writing & collaborating with fellow artists, Elaine also offers qualified coaching and mentoring sessions to those commencing their songwriting journeys.
