THE HOMEBIRD SESSIONS
Behind the Songwriters with Elaine Lennon & Friends:
WILL KIMBROUGH

'The Homebird Sessions are a must for music fans and writers everywhere' - THE HERALD.

‘Just beautiful’ – Eve Blair, BBC Radio ULSTER.

The Show creates an intimate and welcoming space for host and creator, Lennon, and her artist guests to connect with audiences as they take turns to perform acoustic versions of their songs. Sharing stories behind their songs alongside little gems of wisdom from their musical journeys.

In this Special show we will also hear from Lennon's A BOY AND HIS GUITAR co-writer John Stamp.

FEATURE GUEST: WILL KIMBROUGH

Will Kimbrough has spent a lifetime writing songs and performing them, along the way becoming a respected recording artist, producer and musician. His latest album 'Spring Break' is a masterful solo acoustic record in the tradition of Folkways and Vanguard folk records.

Will's songs have been recorded by Jimmy Buffett, Little Feat, Todd Snider, Jack Ingram, Gretchen Peters and many others.

His production credits include Buffett, Doug Seegers, Todd Snider, Radney Foster, Kim Richey and Steve Poltz.

Will is a prolific writer and recording artist, a member of Willie Sugarcapps, DADDY and Emmylou Harris' Red Dirt Boys.

Special Guest : JOHN STAMP

John started his journey as a songwriter in the contemporary christian music scene, mainly using music as a method of conveying a message. His writing has taken a broader road in the last fifteen years. Sometimes it's wanting to say something that's a warning or a message, mostly its a view through a camera lens. How he sees the world.

John joins us as a special guets at the show as the co-writer of the 3rd official release under THE HOMEBIRD SESSIONS umbrealla, to talk to us about his part in writing A BOY AND HIS GUITAR.
