Hello! How's everyone?
Debut Single Update
Wow it's been a busy month in the world of Elaine Lennon Music!
I released my debut single 'Trouble' 2 weeks ago today on all digital platforms and I am extremely grateful to all those who have aired, streamed, downloaded, liked, shared and added it to your playlists!
Iain Anderson gave it some fantastic exposure on his BBC Sounds 'The Iain Anderson Show' and many other amazing radio stations throughout the UK have added it to their show playlists. It entered at #65 on the US 'SHEWOLF' Radio station (in some good company!) and is CamGlen Radio Editor's pick for the 'Scottish New Music Global Chart' which is amazing!
"Lennon recalled some of the classic singer songwriters from the past with echoes of Janis Ian, Dory Previn and even Nina Simone hovering around, the latter especially evident on the bluesy ‘Trouble‘." AmericanaUK
If you haven't heard the single yet you can listen here.
Single #2 Available to Pre-order
The second single from he album is now ready for pre-order!
'No silver needle, thread of gold, can sew a hem on stories still untold'...

'Only Love Can Beak Your Heart' is a song about love, loss, and a heart-wrenching hope that love is still worth the fight no matter the heartache.
In my opinion, it's a powerfully moving ballad with classic instrumentation, epic arrangements sung in a moving and emotive way. A tear-jerker that literally pulls on the heartstrings both lyrically and musically.
With it's beautiful string arrangement (cello, violin and viola) by the wonderful Patsy Reid and the high strung guitar of Findlay Napier, this song will have you reaching for the hankies for sure! Engineer Paul Savage has once again worked his magic here too.
'The producer Findlay Napier has played a blinder on this number.' - Fatea Magazine
It's been so long in the making and I cannot wait to share the album version with you all!
PRE-ORDER NOW on BandCamp
(on all other platforms within the next 7 days)

"One of the best debut albums I have heard in years...some of the most powerful and passionate lyrics I have heard in a long time...a delight from first track to the last” - FATEA Magazine

SO WHAT ELSE HAS BEEN HAPPENING?
It's been another busy month on the live front.
I had the absolute honour of opening for the US Country Star William Michael Morgan at his Glasgow Event this month. What a talent and such a lovely kind and warm personality he has. Thanks to all those who came along, especially to those singing the lyrics to 'Trouble' along with me :) There really is no feeling like the one when people sing your songs back to you! Thank you!
I loved performing at Greenock's BEACON ARTS CENTRE, the line-up including my friends Martha L Healy and Shelagh McKay Jones who is also organiser and host of the popular 'Songwriters' Uncovered Series'.
UPCOMING LIVE EVENTS
My last live musical event of the year will be a return to the wonderful Glad Cafe on the 4th of December to join in Michael McMillan's Songwriters' Circle. There are still some tickets available so please come and join us for an evening of song and story!
On the 5th of December I am thrilled to have been invited to share my musical story so far in a TEDx talk at TEDWomen2019. I have always been a fan and have learned so much over the years from TEDtalks and am honoured to have this platform to share my stories and hopefully connect with and inspire others in some way.
